Inaki Cobo Bachiller, a senior managing director in CVC’s Spanish office, is to leave the firm after 19 years of service.
A member of CVC’s healthcare team, Cobo Bachiller joined in 1998 from Santander where he was a credit risk analyst in New York and Madrid.
CVC was the largest shareholder in Formula One before selling its stake to Liberty Media in January. It currently boasts UK interests in the likes of the RAC, Sky Bet and Moto motorway services.
KKR has British investments including online travel firm Trainline, speaker company Sonos and sport’s Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC).
KKR and CVC joined forces over the summer to put in a rival bid to buy Dulux owner Akzo Nobel after US paint firm PPG launched a takeover attempt.
