Ibrox side Glasgow Rangers signed the young defender on an 18-month deal in January.
Injury has prevented the 21-year-old defender from kicking a ball for Rangers this season.
But the Portuguese manager confirmed that he will join up with the squad tomorrow ahead of Friday's visit to McDiarmid Park.
“I think David Bates too can join us on Thursday, so that means that the squad is getting completed again and we can have more options," he told The Scottish Sun.
Bates - a 6'4 centre-back - signed an 18-month contract with Rangers under Mark Warburton back in January and posted a series of impressive displays under Caixinha in the second half of last season.
He is out of contract with the Gers next summer and he really needs chances to impress in order to boost his hopes of staying at Ibrox beyond June.
The youngster certainly has the talent, but Caixinha has an abundance of centre-back options - including Ross McCrorie following his performance against Celtic last month - and it remains to be seen whether he is good enough to stay in Glasgow.
