Gary Stevens has praised Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Harry Winks on social networking site Twitter.

The former Tottenham defender has expressed his delight at Winks making his debut for the England national football team.

The 21-year-old played his first game for the Three Lions during their final 2018 World Cup qualifier against Lithuania away from home on Sunday evening.

Stevens has praised Winks on Twitter, observing that the midfielder is technically very good and is mature beyond his years.
