West Ham United travel to take on Burnley this weekend.
James Collins of West Ham United goes off injured against West Bromwich Albion
West Ham United co-chairman David Gold has taken to Twitter to claim that every player in the West Ham squad is fit and available for selection – other than James Collins and Domingos Quina.
The Hammers entered the international break off the back of a 1-0 win over Swansea City, with Diafra Sakho's injury time winner giving manager Slaven Bilic a much-needed win.
West Ham United duo Manuel Lanzini and Michail Antonio
With four defeats in the first seven games of the Premier League season, West Ham need to turn their form around in the long-term, starting with this weekend's trip to face Burnley at Turf Moor.
Bilic can point to injuries as one reason why form hasn't been ideal this season, having had to deal with the absences of players such as Cheikhou Kouyate, Pedro Obiang, Manuel Lanzini and Michail Antonio at some stage.
The Hammers also have concerns over injury-prone striker Andy Carroll, with Bilic no doubt attempting to manage his minutes and his training regiment to try and prevent him from suffering another injury.
Ahead of this weekend's game at Burnley, fans have been concerned about the lack of an injury update – and co-chairman David Gold has duly obliged.
Gold has taken to Twitter to respond to one fan's question about the injuries, and he has claimed that the whole squad is fit for selection, apart from just two players – defender James Collins and playmaker Domingos Quina.
Just heard from Gary Lewin that as of today everyone is available for selection with the exception of James Collins and Don Quina. dg https://t.co/8EzuOXpulK— David Gold (@davidgold) October 10, 2017
That means that Lanzini and Antonio, who returned against Swansea, have suffered no reactions to their playing time, using the international break to build up their fitness – and Hammers fans will be hoping they hit top form against Swansea.
