Former Rangers and Queens Park Rangers midfielder Joey Barton has suggested on talkSPORT that Celtic midfielder Scott Brown has improved under Brendan Rodgers.

Rodgers was appointed the Celtic manager in the summer of 2016 following the departure of Ronny Deila at the end of the 2015-16 season.

The former Liverpool and Swansea City boss was a huge success at Celtic Park, as the Bhoys won the Scottish Premiership, the Scottish League Cup and the Scottish Cup last season.

Celtic also progressed to the group stage of the Champions League last season, as they have done during the 2017-18 campaign.
