Everton fans have taken to social networking site Twitter to give their reaction to the performance of Ashley Williams for Wales against Georgia on Friday evening.
Williams featured for Wales in their 2018 World Cup Group D qualifier (European) against Georgia away from home.
Tom Lawrence’s goal four minutes into the second half proved to be the difference between the two teams.
Everton defender Williams started the match and played for the entire 90 minutes.
The 33-year-old centre-back played well for the visiting team, who are now second in Group D with 17 points from nine matches, just a point behind leaders Serbia.
The former Stockport County defender has not been in great form for Everton this season.
Wiliams has been on the books of Everton since the summer of 2016 when he joined from Swansea City for a transfer fee reported by BBC Sport to be worth £12 million.
