Leeds’ positive opening to the Championship campaign has left the Elland Road crowd dreaming of promotion.
Although the Whites’ form has dropped off recently, they still occupy a space in the play offs - and making a move for Haaland in January could tempt the youngster into making the switch to Yorkshire.
Haaland is the son of Alf-Inge, and his father’s links with Leeds have left the young Molde man wanting to make the switch to Elland Road.
Haaland is still a developing talent, but his form in Noway this season has been highly impressive for a 17-year-old.
Haaland has scored four goals in 15 senior appearances for Molde, and he looks ready to make the breakthrough to playing first-team football now.
And if Leeds could bring Haaland to Elland Road sooner rather than later, then they would have yet another burgeoning talent to get exited about for future years.
