Paris Saint-Germain and France midfielder Adrien Rabiot has expressed his desire to play in the Premier League, and has hinted that Liverpool could be a potential destination.
The France international made his senior debut for PSG in 2012 and has made over 160 appearances for the club, scoring 19 goals.
The 22-year-old has spent a part of his youth career at Manchester City, but it is at PSG where he excelled as a top-class midfielder.
Rabiot admitted that he would love to play in the Premier League, and said that he was “very fond” of Liverpool when he was young.
"I think I would like to experience something else [outside Ligue 1]," said the 22-year-old, as quoted by The Mirror.
"There are a lot of very good championships, it’s also very rewarding to go elsewhere.
"I would love to play in the Premier League, not necessarily one club in particular, even though I was very fond of Liverpool when I was young."
The stylish French midfielder has been a long-term target of north London club, Tottenham Hotspur. Back in 2015, Spurs were linked with him, after they believed he could be available.
This summer, Spurs have shown an interest in him as well, with Calcio Mercato claiming he would be available for around £20 million.
Very good at tackling, intelligent with his movement, blessed with wonderful dribbling techniques, and an excellent passer – Rabiot is a class defensive midfielder, and would be an asset for any team in the world.
