The Baggies' positive start to the season has turned sour in recent weeks. Though they won their first two Premier League games and first three in all competitions, they have not tasted victory since then, with three defeats and three draws.
And with Watford coming from two goals down to claim a dramatic draw at The Hawthorns at the weekend - with the equaliser coming with one of the last actions of the game - Pulis appears to be coming under increasing pressure.
But the Baggies boss suggested that the side may well be boosted by the returns of summer signing Burke and Chadli for when they take on Leicester City at the King Power Stadium after the break.
“We’ve just got to be patient with it. We’ve got Burke back now after the international break and hopefully Chadli will play some time and that will give us the opportunity to add them to the group," he said, as reported by the Express and Star.
“Hopefully by the time the window’s over we’ll have Chadli and Burke available which again should help us.”
It will certainly be a boost for West Brom if they do have Chadli and Burke back for the game against the Foxes as they both have the potential to be important players for the side.
Burke has made just two substitute appearances since his summer move from RB Leipzig, and fans have certainly not seen the best from the former Nottingham Forest youngster yet due to injury.
Chadli meanwhile, has made one League Cup appearance so far. And while he has been injured, his eventful summer window appears to have left him low down on Pulis' pecking order, with the Belgian recently appearing for the youth side.
But with West Brom scoring just six league goals in seven games, welcoming Chadli back into the fold and having Burke back available will surely boost their chances of becoming a much more threatening team going forward.
