Would Burnley manager Sean Dyche be a success at Liverpool or Everton?

Sean Dyche manager of Burnley gestures during the Premier League match between Chelsea and Burnley at Stamford Bridge on August 12, 2017 in London, England.

Former Newcastle United and West Ham United defender Stuart Pearce suggested on the Kick Off show on talkSPORT on Monday evening (7pm, October 2, 2017) that Burnley manager Sean Dyche would be a good manager for Liverpool or Everton.

Liverpool have Jurgen Klopp as their manager at the moment, while Ronald Koeman is currently in charge of Merseyside rivals Everton.

Dyche has been in charge of Burnley since 2012 and is doing a great job at Turf Moor, with the Clarets now in the Premier League.

Former Manchester City and Nottingham Forest manager Pearce has suggested that Dyche is good enough to manage clubs such as Liverpool and Everton.

Pearce said on the Kick Off show on talkSPORT on Monday evening (7pm, October 2, 2017): "Where could he go? If we turn it around and say he can’t go to one of the top five or six clubs.

"If we are saying that because for some reason we think because he is English he can’t do that - I disagree with that totally.

"Why can’t he go to Liverpool? Why can’t he go to Everton? Why can’t he go to Newcastle?"

Dyche is a very good manager who has brought stability to Burnley over the past few years.

The Clarets are still among the sides who will to fight for survival in the Premier League, but they have a team spirit unrivalled by any team in the English top flight and should be able to stave off relegation to the Championship at the end of the 2017-18 campaign.
