Hibernian striker Anthony Stokes has told The Daily Record that Celtic goalkeeper Craig Gordon has improved his game.

Gordon has been on the books of Celtic since 2014 and is one of the best goalkeepers in the Scottish Premiership.

Stokes played with the 34-year-old Scotland international at Sunderland and at Celtic, and the Hibs striker has praised him.

The 29-year-old former Arsenal prospect has stated that the ex-Heart of Midlothian custodian has improved and is a steady goalkeeper, having played against him at the weekend during the Scottish Premiership game between Celtic and Hibernian at Celtic Park.

Gordon is the first-choice goalkeeper at Celtic and is one of the best players in Scotland, but the 34-year-old is prone to making mistakes.

During the 2017-18 campaign so far, the goalkeeper has made mistakes in games against Rapid Vienna, Heart of Midlothian and Hamilton Academical.
