Tottenham will take on Huddersfield away from home at the John Smith's Stadium in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon.
Owen has backed Spurs to pick up all three points from the encounter in West Yorkshire outfit.
The former Newcastle United man has praised Tottenham striker Harry Kane, but he does not expect the England international to become the top scorer in the Premier League this season.
The 24-year-old has won the Golden Boot for the past two seasons, but Kane believes that Manchester City striker Sergio Aguero will topscore in the Premier League this campaign.
Argentina international Aguero is one of the best strikers in the world and is a world-class footballer.
The 29-year-old former Atletico Madrid striker has scored six goals and provided three assists in five Premier League starts for City so far this season.
“After tipping-up Harry Kane to open the scoring last weekend the Spurs striker has subsequently scored 5 goals in 2 games and remains in sensational form in front of goal,” Owen wrote on Betvictor.com.
“BetVictor make him the 3/1 second favourite to be the league’s leading goalscorer for a third consecutive season however, I remain adamant that, with a clean bill of health, Man City’s Sergio Aguero is the most likely winner and he looks over-priced at 7/2 accordingly.
“Interestingly enough, Kane’s only previous career appearance at the John Smith’s Stadium came in February 2011 when he was on loan at Leyton Orient – Kane was substituted on, scored and was then sent off, which remains his only red card in all competitions!
“He is a different player these days, however, and with him firing on all cylinders Spurs should claim all three points in West Yorkshire.”
A footnote added: “Michael’s recommendation: Spurs to win to nil at 5/4.”
