Former Tottenham talent voices concern over goalkeeper.
Jermaine Jenas says he is worried about Hugo Lloris' form for club and country this season.
Jenas was speaking at half-time to BT Sport during Tottenham's 3-0 win away at APOEL Nicosia.
Spurs were 1-0 up at the break, but could easily have conceded in the first half.
Hugo Lloris was fortunate to avoid costing his side a goal after kicking a clearance against his own player and watching the ball trickle wide.
Jenas said he is concerned about the France international, arguing he is not at the top of his game right now.
He said: "It's been a weird few months for Hugo Lloris. He is top goalkeeper but has made too many mistakes, also for France. It's a worrying sign."
Tottenham got away with it last night, going on to keep a clean sheet.
Lloris did make a goal costing error against Chelsea last month, but these mistakes are generally rare.
Tottenham have alternatives, with Michel Vorm a solid option, but Lloris is the clear number one and he has not done nearly enough wrong for the club to be worried, even if his own high standards may cause him to be a little frustrated with the odd glitch.
