Confirmed Partick Thistle v Rangers lineups: Pena starts, Nemane on the bench

Carlos Pena of Guadalajara celebrates after scoring during their Mexican Clausura 2016 tournament football match against Dorados at Chivas stadium on May 1, 2016 in Guadalajara, Mexico.

Rangers travel to Partick Thistle again this evening.

Rangers travel to take on Partick Thistle again tonight, just days after the teams played out a 2-2 draw in the Scottish Premiership.

Graham Dorrans scored a late equaliser for Rangers on that occasion, but tonight, the two Glasgow sides turn their attention to the Scottish League Cup.

Rangers have made three changes from the starting lin-up from Friday, as Jak Alnwick comes in for Wes Foderingham, Declan John replaces the injured Lee Wallace and Carlos Pena is handed a rare start in place of Kenny Miller.

Foderingham is named on the bench, alongside Robbie McCrorie, Lee Hodson, Dalcio Gomes, Jason Holt, Eduardo Herrera and recent signing Aaron Nemane, who will be hoping to make an imapact following his move from Manchester City.

Meanwhile, Partick make just two changes from their team, as Miles Storey and the suspended Chris Erskine drop out, with Steven Lawless and Conor Sammon coming into the side.

Alan Archibald's men produced a committed display in Friday's league game, coming from a goal down to lead 2-1, but Erskine's red card ultimately gave Rangers the advantage late on, allowing them to bag an equaliser.

That means that the likes of Danny Devine, Niall Keown and Jordan Turnbull all start, as do Blair Spittal and Ryan Edwards, with the latter coming in for criticism following a strong challenge on Ryan Jack on Friday.

Partick have named just six substitutes on the bench, with Stuart Bannigan and Kris Doolan again named as substitutes tonight.
