Tottenham Hotspur played out a goalless draw with Swansea City on Saturday evening, with the likes of Dele Alli, Harry Kane and Christian Eriksen frustrated by the visitors' resilient back-line.

Kane has been in fine form since the start of September, scoring braces against Everton and Borussia Dortmund. However the England international could not find a way through against the Welsh club.

While Dele Alli and the much-maligned Moussa Sissoko got plenty of criticism for their below-par performances, Eriksen also failed to make any significant mark on a match Tottenham were desperate to win.

Mauricio Pochettino's side are still without a league victory at their temporary home of Wembley and if things do not change quickly they will struggle to mount a serious title challenge just 12 months after finishing as runners-up.

Eriksen played the whole match but he could not work his magic, unable to build on his one goal and four assists so far this campaign.

It remains to be seen whether Tottenham fans should panic about their poor home form when you consider how they tore apart German giants Dortmund last week but Pochettino certainly needs to work out a way to break down more stubborn defences after also struggling against Burnley earlier this season.
