Morgan Schneiderlin of Everton
Few Everton players came out of Thursday night's 3-0 defeat against Atalanta with any credit.
But Toffees midfielder Morgan Schneiderlin appears to be copping it more than most on social media.
Perhaps worryingly, many Everton fans are of the opinion that the Frenchman's disappointing display is not an isolated incident, even though he appeared to begin his career at Goodison Park brightly.
Moussa Sissoko of Tottenham Hotspur
The Toffees paid next opponents Manchester United around £20 million for Schneiderlin in January, but one fan went as far as suggesting the money [plus a bit more] would have been better spent on Moussa Sissoko - a player Everton wanted a year ago but who has been widely condemned since moving to Tottenham Hotspur instead.
Schneiderlin would have been a worse signing than Sissoko. The guy looks absolutely done as a footballer; Everton's worst player this season— Daniel Grigg (@Daniel_Grigg) 14 September 2017
And the calls for him to be dropped for Sunday's trip to Old Trafford are widespread.
Here's what else is being said about the Everton man:
Kim Jong must have watched Schneiderlin today and decided it was a good day to end it all— Callum Jones (@Jonesy179) 14 September 2017

First-half goals from Andrea Masiello, Alejandro Gomez and Bryan Cristante in Bergamo have left Everton propping up Europa League Group E after the first round of matches, with its two other sides, Lyon and Apollon Limassol, slightly ahead of the Toffees after sharing a 1-1 draw in Cyprus.
An exaggeration, or would Everton really be better off with Tottenham's Sissoko?
