Tottenham Hotspur legend Glenn Hoddle shared his opinion on Liverpool forward Ben Woodburn on the Live Premier League Tonight show on BT Sport 1 last Saturday evening (8pm, September 9, 2017).

The former Tottenham and Chelsea midfielder outlined what he finds very encouraging in the 17-year-old Wales international's game.

“For me what I have seen of him - I haven’t seen that much - he has got a wonderful first touch, and he puts the ball exactly where it needs to be,” said Hoddle on the Live Premier League Tonight show on BT Sport 1 last Saturday evening (8pm, September 9, 2017). “That is a massive advantage for any player, let alone a young kid.”

According to a recent report in The Guardian, the youngster will be rewarded with a new long-term contract by Liverpool when he turns 18 next month.

The youngster has already played in the Premier League, and although it is too early to expect him to feature regularly for the Reds, one should not be surprised if in the coming years the Wales international establishes himself as an important figure in Jurgen Klopp’s team.
