Pierre-Michel Lasogga introduced himself to the Leeds United supporters in the perfect manner with two goals in a 5-0 win.

Pierre-Michel Lasogga has told LUTV that it was an honour to play in front of the Leeds supporters for the first time, and described the Elland Road faithful as crazy following his stunning debut for the Whites.

Lasogga completed his loan move to Leeds on deadline day last month, but the international break has meant that he has had to wait a little longer to get the chance to prove whether he can fill the void left behind by former striker Chris Wood.

However, he did waste any time once he got on the pitch, scoring after just 20 minutes of his debut before adding a second just before the hour-mark to help Leeds to an emphatic 5-0 victory over Burton Albion on Saturday.

And after the game, Lasogga was asked what his first impressions of the Leeds supporters was.

"My first impression is very good," he told LUTV.

"The people are very crazy. It was an honour to play here for my first game and score two goals. It was a fantastic feeling today."

It is hardly a surprise that the 25-year-old received a tremendous ovation from the fans as he took absolutely no time to show what he could be capable of during his season-long loan.

As well as the goals, there were moments where the Hamburg-owned forward looked like he had been playing alongside the likes of Kemar Roofe, Pablo Hernandez and Eunan O'Kane for much longer than he actually had, and that should arguably worry the rest of the Championship and excite Leeds fans even further.
