The young centre-back made his Tottenham Hotspur debut this weekend.
The Colombian international signed for Spurs from Ajax in a club-record deal earlier this summer, and big things are expected of the 21-year-old, who did not disappoint in his first appearance for Mauricio Pochettino's side.
Tottenham's new arrival played in a back three alongside Jan Vertonghen and Toby Alderweireld and the trio should keep plenty of clean sheets over the course of the entire campaign.
While Spurs struggled for much of the transfer window there was a late flurry of activity that ensured Pochettino strengthened in some key areas, most notably up front and at right-back.
The additions of Sanchez and Juan Foyth were, at first glance, less important, but the way the former has started life at Tottenham he could soon prove to be a bargain despite his hefty price tag.
Next up for Tottenham is the Champions League clash with Borussia Dortmund, and Sanchez will be hoping to build on his impressive European outings last season for Ajax, in which time he made it all the way to the Europa League final.
What a debut for Davinson Sanchez. Not easy at all to come and play in the PL. He looked like He already belong there. Great future. COYS— osvaldo ardiles (@osvaldooardiles) September 10, 2017
