Citigroup has promoted Chief Investment Officer Mike Verdeschi to the vacant post of treasurer, according to a memo on Thursday from Chief Financial Officer John Gerspach.

Reuters reports that the previous treasurer, James von Moltke, resigned in April to become chief financial officer of Deutsche Bank.

In the meantime, the news agency also reports that Goldman Sachs commodities trading co-head Greg Agran is leaving the bank after 26 years, according to an internal memo on Friday.

Jeremy Taylor and Ed Emerson will continue to serve as co-heads of commodities trading, the memo said.

Finally, Reuters reports that JPMorgan Chase has promoted Lori Beer to be global chief information officer, succeeding Dana Deasy, who is retiring, according to an internal memo.

Deasy, 58, will join the boards of some technology companies with which JPMorgan has made partnerships and investments, according to the memo.
