Paul Merson says Tottenham Hotspur cannot wait to play Arsenal

Paul Merson believes that Tottenham Hotspur will win against Arsenal at the Wembley Stadium in London.

Paul Merson has suggested in The Daily Star that Tottenham Hotspur cannot wait to play Arsenal.

The former Arsenal star believes that Tottenham wish they could play against Arsenal soon so as to stop the Wembley curse.

Spurs have struggled to play well and get positive results at the Wembley Stadium in London.

Mauricio Pochettino’s side have failed to win either of their Premier League matches at Wembley this season.

Former Arsenal star Merson has suggested that Spurs will win against Arsenal at Wembley.

The former England international has criticised the Gunners for their performances and results this season, and believes that Tottenham will win against them at Wembley.

“I bet Tottenham can’t wait to play Arsenal,” Merson wrote in The Daily Star. “I bet they wish they could play that game tomorrow, because it would stop all the Wembley curse stories once and for all….”

Merson is a former Arsenal man, and his aforementioned comments are certain to bring a smile to all the Tottenham fans’ faces.

The way Arsene Wenger’s side collapsed against Liverpool in the Premier League last weekend was stunning, and although Spurs have not been great so far this season, at the moment they are in better state than their North London rivals.
