Jamie Redknapp has questioned Tottenham Hotspur's transfer business.
Jamie Redknapp has told SkySports that he is confused by Tottenham's transfer business.
Speaking to The Debate on SkySports (29/8 10pm), Redknapp questioned the club's lack of activity.
He said: "Yes they have bought a centre back, but I do think they need a couple of players signed.
"I don't understand why not."
Redknapp added that he felt Tottenham's draw with Burnley was a serious blow in their attempts to acclimatise to playing at Wembley.
Spurs drew 1-1, their second home game of the season, having lost the previous week 2-1 to Chelsea.
Redknapp said: "I was talking to my dad yesterday and saying, that I didn't think Wembley would be so much of a problem for them.
"If they could have just got across the line against Burnley it would have given them such a lift heading into the international break."
Tottenham have four points from their opening three games, and the real question they should be asking is whether their lack of investment so far has cost them.
If they had acted early in the transfer window to buy new players, it would have given their squad a lift and potentially made settling into their new stadium that little bit easier.
They have dropped points by very fine margins so far, and new additions could have made all the difference.
