Sam Clucas made his debut for Swansea City against Crystal Palace on Saturday.
Sam Clucas made a strong impression on his debut as Swansea City won 2-0 against Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park.
Tammy Abraham, on loan from Chelsea, scored the opening goal for the visitors, and Jordan Ayew added another to seal full three points for the Swans.
Clucas, who completed his move to Swansea last week from Championship side Hull City, made a solid impact straightaway.
The 26-year-old midfielder was one of the best players for Hull City last season and showed that he is good enough to play in the top flight of English football.
Clucas controlled the midfield superbly with a 90% passing accuracy, and made two interceptions as well, according to whoscored.com.
The midfielder took to Twitter after the match to express his reaction on making his debut for a new club.
Enjoyed my debut today but more importantly a great 3 points away from home ⚽️— Sam Clucas (@samclucas) August 26, 2017

Well done Sam great performance— MARK Morgan (@mugmogs) August 27, 2017
As for #Swans Clucas looked like he'd been in that midfield for 4 months not 4 days. Solid away team performance— Ian Danter (@talkdants) August 26, 2017
That is such a priceless three points. Sam Clucas & Leroy Fer were sublime; ran that midfield with ease. #swans— Ashley James (@JamesAshley_) August 26, 2017
