Leeds United youngster Mallik Wilks wasted little time making his mark at loan club Accrington Stanley, scoring an injury-time equaliser away to Notts County on Friday evening.
It has been a busy few days for the striker, who was named on the bench for Leeds' EFL Cup clash against Newport County on Tuesday, left for a five-month loan spell on Thursday and scored his first ever senior goal just 24 hours later.
In an eventful match, Jon Stead opened the scoring for the hosts before Jorge Grant doubled their advantage.
At that point it looked like Accrington were dead and buried but Mark Hughes pulled one back and, despite a late sending off for Mekhi McLeod (one of two red cards on the night), Wilks still had time to slot home a composed finish into the far corner to send the visiting fans delirious.
Wilks celebrated exactly as you would expect from a striker scoring his first senior goal and he will be hoping there are many more to come between now and the end of his loan spell in January.
Wilks is one of Leeds' most highly rated youngsters and Whites fans will be keeping a close eye on his progress over the next few months.
While he has years to reach his peak, Wilks has been tipped to make the first-team breakthrough at Elland Road sooner rather than later and he made his Leeds debut in the ill-fated FA Cup clash with Sutton United last season.
After his latest outing we took to Twitter to see what fans thought of the Leeds player's Accrington debut and you can read a selection of what we found below:
