Leeds United maintained their strong start to the season with a comfortable 2-0 victory over Nottingham Forest away from home.
The Whites headed into the Championship game at the City Ground high on confidence and deservedly picked up all three points from the encounter.
Kemar Roofe put the West Yorkshire outfit in the lead in the 24th minute, and Ezgjan Alioski wrapped up the points for the visiting team three minutes from full time.
Jay-Roy Grot did not start the match, but the 19-year-old forward came on as a substitute in the 70th minute.
It was the youngster’s debut for Leeds, having joined the Championship club only this week from NEC Nijmegen for a transfer fee reported by The Daily Star reported to be worth £1.5 million.
