Spurs have built up a reputation for developing young English players under Mauricio Pochettino, as the likes of Eric Dier, Dele Alli and Harry Kane have all thrived in recent years.
The likes of Kyle Walker-Peters, Harry Winks and Joshua Onomah are also set for big futures in North London, and Tottenham look set to continue their attempts to sign and develop top young English talents.
The Mirror's live transfer blog (00:20) states that Tottenham want to sign Crewe Alexandra forward George Nunn, and have told the League Two club to name their price for the striker.
It's claimed that Nunn caught the eye of Tottenham coaches during a youth game between the two clubs, as the 15-year-old striker smashed a hat-trick in front of Spurs staff.
The report claims that Tottenham are now entering talks to sign Nunn, but are aware that it will take 'hefty compensation' to land the latest product of Crewe's famous youth academy.
Crewe have brought through the likes of Dean Ashton, Rob Hulse, Seth Johnson, Billy Jones, Rob Jones, Nicky Maynard, Ben Marshall, Danny Murphy, Luke Murphy, Nick Powell, David Vaughan and Ashley Westwood over the years, as their academy has been something of a conveyor belt of talent.
Many of those players went on to play for Premier League clubs, and the same could soon be said of Nunn, with Tottenham allegedly preparing their move for the teenage striker.
