Wolves are reportedly interested in signing Nelson Oliveira.
According to reports from The Sunday People (printed edition; press reader) Wolverhampton Wanderers are plotting a move to sign two strikers this summer, and one of them is Norwich City's Nelson Oliveira.
The report claims that the Championship club are plotting a move for the 26-year-old, who is valued at £8 million.
Oliveira is a Portuguese international, and therefore the link with Wolves doesn't come as a surprise.
Wolves have been extremely busy in the summer transfer window, with Portuguese boss Nuno Espirito Santo having made as many as 10 new signings.
Despite splashing £15 million on Ruben Neves already Nuno still believes that Wolves lack a cutting edge and wants to improve his options by adding Oliveira to the squad.
The player claims that he is unaware of Wolves' transfer links, but says he admires Nuno Santo as a coach.
Oliveira says that he even has friends at Wolves, but right now he is happy at Norwich City.
“I do not know about Wolves’ possible interest,” Oliveira said, as quoted by Sky Sports. “I admire Nuno Espirito Santo as a coach and I even have friends at Wolves, but I’m happy at Norwich.”
Norwich City have made a stuttering start to their 2017/18 Championship campaign, having failed to win in their opening two matches.
