The demands of the Championship season are already becoming clear to Christiansen, with a busy fixture list over the opening weeks of the new campaign.
And Christiansen has suggested that changes could be made to his starting line-up tomorrow, when Leeds take on Slavisa Jokanovic’s side.
“I will see. You never know,” Christiansen said, when asked if Leeds will make alterations ahead of their match against Fulham. “I will see the performance, how the players are and I will take the best decision for the team to go and get the three points.”
Leeds could only manage to get a draw in their last match against Preston North End, with the two sides cancelling each other out.
Leeds simply could not break the deadlock, even though Preston went down to 10 men in the second half.
Chris Wood spurned Leeds’ best chance during the contest, but Christiansen’s side can take consolation from the fact that they remain unbeaten in competitive matches so far this campaign.
Fulham should give Leeds a tough test, but the Cottagers have only been able to pick up two draws in their Championship matches to date.
