Saiss featured for Wolves in the Championship game against Derby away from home at the Pride Park Stadium in the Championship.
The 27-year-old, who can operate as a defender or as a midfielder, started the match and played for the entire 90 minutes, as the Wanderers won 2-0.
Barry Douglas put the visiting Wolves in the lead just past the half-hour mark, and Ivan Cavaleiro doubled the advantage in the 76th minute.
Wolves fans have taken to Twitter to give their reaction to the performance of Saiss against Derby on Saturday.
Goes 2 show, put footballer in the middle of the park with him and you'll get the best out of saiss, partnership with neves blossoming #wwfc— Danny Powers (@Danny_Powers) August 13, 2017
Saiss, jota, willy, coady, bright, Doherty all superb yesterday. Saiss another man of the match performance #wwfc— Danny Powers (@Danny_Powers) August 13, 2017
Neves & Saiss - anchor midfield. Anticipate danger, break up play. Spring counter attacks. Best pairing in the Championship by far #wwfc— Southy (@__Southy) August 12, 2017
If Neves and Saiss stay fit we will go up this year, best midfield partnership in the championship #wwfc— Jack Tomlinson (@TomoWWFC) August 12, 2017
Saiss different class again today, just shows how clueless Lambert was in not playing him #wwfc— Darren Horne (@dazwolf88) August 12, 2017
Remember last year when Saiss couldn't even get in the squad #wwfc— Josh Oldfield (@JoshOldfield91) August 12, 2017
Saiss joined Wolves from French club Angers in the summer of 2016, but the midfielder failed to make a massive impact at the Molineux Stadium last season.
The Morocco international was able to make only 19 starts and five substitute appearances for Wolves during the 2016-17 campaign, providing one assist in the process.
