Southampton fans have been reacting on Twitter to Dusan Tadic's performance in the opening day clash with Swansea City, and it is safe to say that the supporters are extremely divided regarding the Serbian's display.
The Saints kicked off the campaign with fresh optimism that the football on show would be a lot more exciting this season than it was under former boss Claude Puel.
However, the same issues reared their head again as Mauricio Pellegrino's men failed to find the back of the net for the sixth home game in a row in the Premier League - including the final five fixtures that were played at St Mary's last season - meaning that they had to settle for a goalless draw with the Swans.
But it is certainly not like the Saints did not create the opportunities to win the game, with BBC Sport reporting that Southampton had 29 attempts on goal throughout the game compared to Swansea's four.
However, incredibly, BBC Sport also reports that Pellegrino's men put just two of those attempts on target - and that appears to be the main reason why Tadic has been criticised following the game.
Though it must also be mentioned that the 28-year-old - who was certainly not the only player to squander an excellent chance during the contest - actually also received plenty of praise from the fans who took to social media after the game, due to his work-rate and the quality he showed in other areas of the field.
Here is the best of the mixed reaction...
Give him his due, Tadic was heavily involved today.— Lee V (@SaintLee_) 12 August 2017
But that may be the problem.....#saintsfc
Need to stop thinking tadic and jwp will chip in with goals, never going to happen. Better off playing Davis in the hole. #saintsfc— Andrew Davis (@andydavis1978) 12 August 2017
When are we going to learn that the Ward-Prowse, Tadic and Redmond combination yields no goals?!? #saintsfc— Rickie Herbert (@RickieHerbert) 12 August 2017
Tadic today was class ran the show— Jamie (@jamie17saints) 12 August 2017
Tadić does the hard things so well, but its the simple things like finishing easy chances and making easy decisions that he struggles with.— SaintsNews&Views (@SaintsfcViews) 12 August 2017
I'm sorry but I really don't rate tadic at all. Why can't someone come in for him? #SaintsFC— Ashley Jones (@Joner07) 12 August 2017

Tadic finishing woeful.
Should have had two pens - blatant.
Stephens and Yoshi solid.
JWP poor delivery.#SaintsFC
