According to The Daily Mail, Stoke City are one of four teams interested in offering Vincent Janssen an escape route from Tottenham Hotspur.
The 23-year-old striker scored twice from open play in 38 games for Tottenham last season following a £17 million move from AZ Alkmaar last summer.
The 26-year-old fell out of favour under Mark Hughes last season, before being loaned to Bundesliga outfit Mainz in January and although he failed to impress in Germany, the former Barcelona starlet did have three goals in five Premier League starts before his move.
The former Spain international, who has 14 goals in 53 league games for the Potters, can still be successful in England and, with better players and a better manager to work with, it's not beyond the realms of possibility that he impresses for the Lilywhites.
Sure, Spurs fans wouldn't be delighted over such a move, but the same supporters need only think back to 2014 when the dimunitive forward inspired Stoke to a shock win at White Hart Lane, scoring his first goal for the club in the process.
There is certainly talent there and Bojan would represent a better option than Jansson to cover Kane, with the versatile attacker also capable of playing on either wing.
