The Daily Mail has reported that Stoke City and West Bromwich Albion are "showing interest" in signing Tottenham Hotspur flop Vincent Janssen.
The 23-year-old striker scored only six times in all competitions since his £17 million move from AZ Alkmaar last summer, but four of those were penalties.
Consequently, it wouldn't be a huge surprise if Tottenham were to offload the Netherlands international before the transfer window shuts at the end of the month.
And The Daily Mail claims that Spurs could have takers in the form of West Brom and Stoke, who believe that Janssen could still prove himself a hit in the Premier League.
The report goes on to state that Lazio and Marseille are also interested.
Janssen might be a decent player in this division one day, but for the moment he's nowhere near good enough to cover Harry Kane.
Signing a striker isn't an issue of great urgency for Spurs due to Kane's presence, but it is still important that manager Mauricio Pochettino has adequate back-up as Tottenham gear up for another hectic season which includes European football.
