Ahmed Hegazy marked his West Bromwich Albion debut with a goal.
The Egyptian hitman was the hero for the Baggies in their Premier League curtain-raiser as his 31st-minute strike secured a 1-0 win over Bournemouth at The Hawthorns.
The 26-year-old, who joined on loan from Al Ahly, is one of just three new faces to join Tony Pulis's side this summer, but it's another new signing who West Brom fans were raving about on Twitter after the victory.
Jay Rodriguez, who joined Albion in a £12 million deal from Southampton last month, was arguably Man of the Match as he also enjoyed an excellent debut.
And fans of the West Midlands club acknowledged his performance.
Jay Rodriguez looks a good signing for WBA. Got pace and is lively. Livened up Baggies pedestrian attacks.— john wragg (@downthelamb) August 12, 2017

It's a good start to the season for Pulis's side, but the West Brom boss will want more new additions before the transfer window shuts.
They finished 10th in the Premier League last season, and Nacer Chadli, linked with a move away from the club, played a big role in that so Pulis simply has to replace him if he goes and also add a few more players if he wants to help the club kick on.
