Liverpool drew 3-3 with Watford at Vicarage Road this afternoon.
Liverpool were denied all three points in their Premier League opener with Watford following a six-goal thriller at Vicarage Road.
Miguel Britos struck a late equaliser to make it 3-3 after Liverpool had come back from 2-1 down to lead 3-2.
Roberto Firmino slotted 55th-minute penalty, before turning provider to set up Mohamad Salah two minutes later as Jurgen Klopp's side moved ahead for the first time.
The Brazilian's assist had Stan Collymore purring on Twitter, with the former Liverpool striker describing it as "absolutely top drawer".
Two sublime touches from Firmino to set that goal up. Absolutely top draw technique and composure.@MirrorFootball LIVE— Stan Collymore (@StanCollymore) August 12, 2017
The Hornets had led 2-1 at the break, with goals from Stefano Okaka Chuka and Abdoulaye Doucoure, either side of Sadio Mane's brief equaliser, doing the damage for the hosts in an entertaining first half.
It's not a great start to the campaign for Liverpool. Well, it wasn't a great start following the news of Philippe Coutinho's transfer request, but this will only compound their misery.
