Tottenham Hotspur defender Danny Rose made some controversial comments recently.

Graham Roberts has claimed on social networking site Twitter that Tottenham Hotspur manager Mauricio Pochettino is not happy with recent comments made by defender Danny Rose.

Rose recently gave an interview to The Sun in which he made some controversial remarks about Tottenham and his teammates.

The England international left-back suggested that he would be open to the idea of leaving Spurs in the future, and claimed that there should be more competition for places in the team.

The 27-year-old also suggested that he should be earning more than he currently is, which is reported to be £65,000 per week by The Mirror.

Former Tottenham defender Roberts, who is 58 years of age, has revealed on Twitter that he has been told that Tottenham manager Pochettino is not happy with the interview that Rose gave.

Since that interview to The Sun, Rose has publicly apologised, and manager Pochettino has also accepted his apology, as reported by BBC Sport.

The former Leeds United prospect is injured at the moment, but when fit, Rose is one of the best left-backs in the Premier League.
