West Ham kick off their Premier League season at Old Trafford tomorrow afternoon.
Four of the Irons' new signing - Joe Hart, Pablo Zabaleta, Marko Arnautovic and Javier Hernandez - might be involved, but one man who won't be is Haksabanovic.
The exciting 18-year-old joined Slaven Bilic's side this week from Halmstads BK but, having played no part in a recent Under-23 outing, it was thought that Bilic may include him for the trip to the Theatre of Dreams.
But West Ham co-owner Gold has confirmed that is not the case - but claims that Diafra Sakho, restricted to four Premier League games last season due to injury, could travel
No Sead is not in the squad but I'm hoping Diafra Sakho will travel. dg https://t.co/BkihpJTGeb— David Gold (@davidgold) August 12, 2017
Some West Ham fans will be cautiously optimistic about getting a result at Old Trafford tomorrow.
Of course, the Red Devils have made some cracking signings, but then again so have the Hammers and defeat is anything but a foregone conclusion in a weekend which has reminded Premier League fans just how unpredictable their league can be.
