Conor Coady will not be joining Sheffield United, Wolverhampton Wanderers fans say.
United boss Chris Wilder confirmed his side had placed a bid for the former Bramall Lane loan star on Wednesday, but reports say the offer was turned down by Wolves.

Coady began the summer as one of several whose Molineux future appeared to be uncertain, following the appointment of Nuno Espirito Santo as manager and ensuing recruitment drive.
But the 24-year-old pre-season displays appear to have fired him to the forefront of Nuno's plans, and he was even handed the captain's armband for Saturday's opening day win against Middlesbrough.
While his contract may only have 10 months left to run, most Wolves fans are confident of keeping Coady out of Sheffield United's clutches - unless they return with a bid which is too good to refuse.
Nevertheless, some feel that had the Blades come in sooner, the former Liverpool man may already be at Bramall Lane.

Here's what they have been saying on Twitter...
Sheffield Utd bidding for Conor Coady to me is basically like us bidding for Sergio Ramos. It could happen, but it just wont #WWFC— ㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤ ㅤFXRHXXN (@fxrhxxn7) August 9, 2017

The Coady rumour smacks of getting the player a new contract - he ain't going nowhere! #wwfc— Jason Small (@JasonSmall2501) August 9, 2017
Regarding Coady, I see him as an important player in this team, offer the kid a new contract.. he'd be silly to leave this project.. #wwfc— Cameron (@camerondowie) August 9, 2017
Wouldn't of minded coady leaving before pre season but don't wanna see him go now, too important for us #wwfc— ▪️ (@JhassNathan) August 9, 2017
I don't think Coady would consider leaving, Nuno clearly likes him and he's captaining the side at the moment. He ain't going anywhere #wwfc— Ryan L WWFC (@rlwolves) August 10, 2017
Will Wolves keep hold of Coady amid interest from Sheffield United?
