Liverpool and Watford go head-to-head this weekend in their first league game of the new campaign.
Liverpool's players were photographed being put through their paces ahead of their first Premier League game of the new season.
The Reds take on Watford at Vicarage Road on Saturday lunchtime and Jurgen Klopp's side will be desperate to get off to the best possible start.
Liverpool have signed Andrew Robertson, Mohamed Salah and Dominic Solanke so far this summer and all three are expected to play a big role in the upcoming campaign.
Solanke in particular has impressed during pre-season, while Salah's pace and directness should make him a tough opponent for the vast majority of defences both domestically and in Europe.
Robertson arrived in a cut-price deal from Hull City, and if he plays to his full potential he could prove to be one of the savviest signings of the summer.
All three new Liverpool players were in training on Thursday afternoon, along with plenty of familiar faces.
Youngsters Ovie Ejaria, Ryan Kent and Ben Woodburn were also included, although it remains to be seen if any of them will be heading out on loan before the transfer window closes at the end of the month.
Liverpool's return to the Champions League means they will be stretched as they bid to compete at Europe's top table as well as pushing for the Premier League title, but Klopp has been at Anfield for a while now and will be hoping 2018 is his year.
