West Ham United fans have been having their say on Twitter after the club's new third shirt was leaked online.

Hammers fans love to see a bit of effort made with their kits whether they respect tradition, go retro or try to be original.

The club revealed a first ever black away kit this summer which went down well with supporters.

While there is nothing in the club's history linked to black kits, fans generally liked the colours and design in what has already proved a popular strip.

The home shirt was less well received although since going on sale, many fans have taken to it after seeing it worn with the white shorts and socks.

And now the club's third strip has been leaked online, a pale blue top in a similar style to last season's third shirt complete with smart collar.

The badge is the same as the one which featured on the 1923 FA Cup final shirt.

The overwhelming response from Hammers fans has been positive, even if there is some confusion over the change of badge.

The badge change is something the club did on last year's third kit - where the original Thames Ironworks Union Jack was used - which ultimately meant the club could not wear it for competitive matches due to strict rules.

Of course Hammers boss Slaven Bilic won't care what kit his side wears just as long as they perform in it.
