Glasgow Rangers fans have hailed the performance of Alfredo Morelos against Dunfermline last night.
Morelos was handed a start up-front for the Ibrox side and scored a brace as Rangers made it through in the cup.
Although Rangers were taking on an opponent from the lower leagues, Morelos’ performance still caught the eye.
And many supporters of the Glasgow clubs are now urging Pedro Caixinha to make Morelos Rangers’ leading striker.
So important for Morelos to hit the ground running. This could, hopefully be the natural goalscorer we've been dying for.— Russell Brown (@RussellBrown72) August 9, 2017

Alfredo Morelos will be the best striker in Scotland— . (@Harry_1872) August 10, 2017
Morelos looks the striker Rangers have needed; strong, quick and loves scoring. Cardoso looks a steal. Not had a bad game since arriving.— missteeray (@missteeray) August 10, 2017
Miller and Morelos already looks like a better partnership than Miller and Herrera— Tomo (@tomo1872) August 9, 2017
Rangers started with Eduardo Herrera up-top in their first league match of the season, but the Mexican forward is yet to show his top form.
Morelos, on the other hand, was bright all evening yesterday - as Rangers picked up an impressive 6-0 victory.
Caixinha’s men also scored goals through Kenny Miller, Bruno Alves, Daniel Candeias and James Tavernier.
Rangers are next in action at the weekend when they take on Hibernian at Ibrox, and it will be intriguing to see whether Morelos keeps his place.
