With the new Premier League season just days away, football fans will be putting the finishing touches to their fantasy football teams for the coming campaign.
To help, HITC Sport's YouTube channel has put together a list of eight bargain players you should consider including in your team as you try to look for value while building the side around the likes of Harry Kane and Eden Hazard.
Tammy Abraham was brilliant during his loan spell at Bristol City last season, scoring 23 times in the Championship. Swansea have signed him on loan this year, and given their lack of options up front, he may well play a prominent role for the Swans this term. And with a point to prove to parent club Chelsea, it would hardly be a surprise if he does well during his time with Swansea.
Dwight Gayle (Newcastle United)
Dwight Gayle also scored 23 Championship goals last season, guiding Newcastle to promotion back to the Premier League. The Magpies have not bolstered their striker ranks over the summer, so it appears that Gayle will be relied upon to be their main goalscorer again this term.
Anthony Knockaert (Brighton and Hove Albion)
If Brighton are to stand any chance of staying up this season, you would imagine that playmaker Anthony Knockaert will have to be on form. If he is, he has the potential be a fantastic player in the top flight, having scored 15 goals from the wing in the Championship last season. That form saw him named the division's player of the year last season.
Charlie Taylor was an extremely impressive member of the Leeds side for a number of years before leaving for Burnley when his contract expired this summer. His willingness to get forward could see him earn a decent amount of points, especially if the Clarets are able to keep a number of clean sheets throughout the season.
Matt Phillips (West Bromwich Albion)
Matt Phillips was arguably one of the bargain signings of the summer last year, scoring four and contributing eight assists for the Baggies. West Brom have endured another quiet window, so he will probably be relied upon to provide more creativity during the coming season.
Vicente Iborra (Leicester City)
If Vicente Iborra can replicate the form he showed with Sevilla last season while he is at Leicester, then the Foxes fans will undoubtedly be delighted - as will any person who includes him in their fantasy football team as he scored seven times from midfield last year, as he did in the two campaigns before that also.
Nine years ago, it seemed every fan brought Hull's Geovanni into their fantasy team at some stage after he came from nowhere and started the season in sensational fashion for the newly-promoted side. Fast forward to this season, and another player who has left Manchester City for a newly-promoted side is Aaron Mooy, who will be looking to help Huddersfield survive while many write them off. Mooy was fantastic in the Championship last season, and will probably be looking to pull the strings once again this year. With expectations and prices low, throwing some Huddersfield players into your team may be a gamble that quickly looks to be a masterstroke if the Terriers spring some surprises.
Javier Hernandez (West Ham United)
Javier Hernandez has been a reliable goalscorer wherever he has gone in his career, so there is little reason to believe that he will not be lethal during his time with West Ham. There may have been some higher-profile striker deals taking place this summer, but it would be foolish to suggest Hernandez cannot be the goalscorer the Irons, and your fantasy team, are craving.
