Manchester United travel to the Macedonian capital of Skopje this evening as they take on Real Madrid in the UEFA Super Cup, just days out from the start of the new Premier League season.

The UEFA Super Cup sees the Champions League winners go head-to-head with the Europa League winners, and Real Madrid booked their place in this game by beating Juventus 4-1 in the Champions League final back in June.

Tonight, Zinedine Zidane has called on big name stars such as Sergio Ramos, Marcelo, Toni Kroos and Luka Modric, whilst Gareth Bale starts in attack - particularly interesting given that United boss Jose Mourinho suggested that United may target the Welshman if he was left out of tonight's game.

That means that former United hero Cristiano Ronaldo is only on the bench, alongside summer signing Theo Hernandez as well as the likes of Kiko Casilla, Lucas Vazquez and Marco Asensio.

United beat Ajax 2-0 in the Europa League final to guarantee their spot in this fixture, and Mourinho has handed starts to summer signing Victor Lindelof, Nemanja Matic and Romelu Lukaku this evening.

Antonio Valencia captains the side, whilst there are starts for familiar faces such as Antonio Valencia, Chris Smalling, Ander Herrera, Paul Pogba and Henrikh Mkhitaryan too.

Marcus Rashford is only on the bench this evening, alongside Sergio Romero, Daley Blind, Michael Carrick, Marouane Fellaini, Juan Mata and Anthony Martial.
