Liverpool fans fume with Jurgen Klopp's comments on centre-backs

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has suggested that he is satisfied with his centre-back options.

Liverpool fans are less than impressed with Jurgen Klopp’s latest suggestion that he is satisfied with his options at centre-back at Anfield.

Liverpool have been linked with a host of defenders this summer, but have failed to bring in a new centre-back.

And Klopp has recently suggested to the Liverpool Echo that he is satisfied with his options.

Liverpool currently have Joel Matip, Ragnar Klavan, Dejan Lovren and Mamadou Sakho available to pick in the heart of their defence.

The quartet all struggled to impress last season, and Liverpool fans are angered that Klopp is suggesting he has enough cover now.

Liverpool have strengthened this summer, but some supporters do not feel they have invested enough.

Klopp has brought in the likes of Dominic Solanke, Mohamed Salah and Andrew Robertson to bolster his options this summer.

Liverpool’s get their season under way at the weekend, with their first match coming against Watford at Vicarage on Saturday.
