The 21-year-old midfielder started the match and played for the entire 90 minutes, as the West Yorkshire outfit won 3-2.
The youngster was the star of the show for Leeds, as he scored two goals for Thomas Christiansen’s side.
Leeds defender Cooper, who is 25 years of age and can operate as a central defender or as a left-back, has praised Phillips for his performance against Bolton.
