West Ham United and Middlesbrough fans have taken to social networking site Twitter to give their reaction to the performance of Ashley Fletcher against Wolverhampton Wanderers.
Fletcher featured for Middlesbrough in the Championship game against Wolves away from home at the Molineux Stadium on Saturday afternoon.
The 21-year-old striker started the match and played for 57 minutes, as Boro suffered a 1-0 defeat in their opening game of the new league campaign.
Leo Bonatini’s goal’s in the 33rd minute proved to be the difference between Wolves and Middlesbrough at Molineux on Saturday afternoon.
The game against the Wanderers was Fletcher’s competitive debut for Boro following his move from West Ham in the summer transfer window.
The former Manchester United prospect joined Middlesbrough from the Hammers last month for a transfer fee reported by BBC Sport to be worth £6.5 million.
