The Paris Saint-Germain ace would be a superb addition to the Tottenham Hotspur squad.

Spurs fans are desperate for their club to make some quality signings this summer, as concern begins to grow regarding their hopes of mounting a sustained challenge for a place inside the top four this season, let alone winning the Premier League title.

One area where Mauricio Pochettino absolutely has to address is his attacking department, with Vincent Janssen provring to be quite clearly not good enough to support Harry Kane, and the likes of Erik Lamela and Son Heung-min both really struggling with injuries.

With this in mind, Tottenham should consider making a move for Jese Rodriguez, whose days with PSG could very well be numbered, following Neymar's big money arrival from Barcelona this week.

The former Real Madrid ace can play through the middle as an orthodox striker, or on either flank, and that versatility would surely appeal to Pochettino, what with his penchant for hard-working forward players who can carry out their duties in a variety of different positions.

The 24-year-old possesses superb technical ability, and has a wealth of experience of playing at the very highest level, despite his relatively tender years.

Jese's potential arrival at Spurs would provide Pochettino with the opportunity to play with two strikers through the middle, should he so wish, which would in turn, make the Lilywhites less predictable to play against.

The Spaniard is a serial winner, with two Champions League winner's medals amongst his collection of accolades, and that kind of winning mentality could prove to be priceless for the Lilywhites.

He is still under contract with the French giants until the summer of 2021, however, so he will not come cheap, but now is the time for Tottenham to really start acting like a big club, and what better way to do just that than by bringing Jese to north London.
