Leeds United have sealed a move for Barcelona defender Oriol Rey.
Rey, 19, put pen to paper on his contract at the weekend and posted an image with the Leeds United shirt online to confirm the switch was official.
Rey had been reported by Vavel in late July to have decided to join Leeds, but his move was not finalised until the weekend.
Rey is a centre-back who featured for Barcelona in the UEFA Youth League last season.
He will initially link up with Leeds' under-23 squad, but there is a strong chance he could break into the first team if he impresses considering the question marks currently at centre-back,
The injury today suffered by loanee Matthew Pennington could give him an early shot at proving his worth.
Rey joins Barcelona youth striker Kun Temenuzkhov, 17, who also joined the Whites last week.
The duo are part of an overhaul headed up by director Ivan Bravo who has also helped Leeds sign youngsters Ousama Siddiki, Alejandro Machuca, Madger Gomes and Adrian Balboa this summer.
