Zinedine Zidane is reportedly open to letting Gareth Bale leave the club four years after signing him from Tottenham.
Zidane was instrumental in signing Bale from Tottenham Hotspur in 2013 when he was sporting director, and he is now manager of the 12 times Champions League winners.
Real are considering selling Bale if it means they can sign Kylian Mbappe from Monaco, as Zidane does not believe there is space for both in his team.
Bale had a disappointing season on a personal level last season, scoring only 10 goals - his lowest return in four seasons at the club - although he ended the campaign with his first La Liga medal and a three-times Champions League winner.
Real Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane reportedly says the club must sell winger Gareth Bale.

Manchester United have been linked to Bale by The Express but fans of his former club Tottenham are hoping they will consider it themselves.
Spurs have yet to make any new signings this summer, and we wrote earlier this month how it would be worth the wait and holding back if they re-signed Bale next summer to coincide with the move into their new stadium.
Yet Zidane's stance could force Tottenham's hand if they do hold an interest in their former star - who would be a potentially title winning addition to their team.
Bale playing alongside Dele Alli and Harry Kane is a dream for Spurs fans, and just perhaps, they might now have the opportunity to consider spending big.
Here is a look at how fans reacted to the reports...
