The Independent has explained why Spurs manager Mauricio Pochettino has decided to let the youngster leave the club out on loan for a season and play for Steve Bruce’s Villa in the Championship.

According to the report, Onomah seems himself as a box-to-box midfielder, but Pochettino does not trust him there and used him out wide last season.

However, the Tottenham manager has allowed the youngster to go out on loan and play in the position he wants to next season after getting advice from people close to him, claims The Independent.
