Josh Onomah is a hugely talented and promising young player, and many would have expected the midfielder to have established himself as a key figure for Tottenham Hotspur this season.
Onomah made just five substitute appearances in the Premier League last season, playing a total of 18 minutes in the English top flight.
This is the first time that the England Under-21 international will play on loan at another club.
According to the report, Onomah seems himself as a box-to-box midfielder, but Pochettino does not trust him there and used him out wide last season.
However, the Tottenham manager has allowed the youngster to go out on loan and play in the position he wants to next season after getting advice from people close to him, claims The Independent.
