Eriksen is one of the most creative players not only in the Premier League, but in entire Europe.
The 25-year-old attacking midfielder scored eight goals and provided 15 assists for Spurs in the league last season.
During the 2015-16 campaign, the former Ajax star scored six goals and provided 13 assists for the North London outfit in the league.
Eriksen, though, has had consistency issues. Last season, the Tottenham star did not have a great start to the campaign, and the Denmark international has admitted that he needs to work on his consistency.
"I will try to be more consistent through the whole season,” Eriksen told The London Evening Standard. “I want to be part of the elite in football, even though it is not my job to say whether I am there or not.”
Eriksen join Tottenham from Dutch giants Ajax in the summer of 2013 for a transfer fee reported by BBC Sport to be worth £11.5 million.
Spurs finished second in the Premier League last season, and the North London outfit will be determined to challenge for the league title yet again this campaign.
